Good morning Diamonds,
I just want to encourage you this morning to make better choices with the time you have been given. Stop looking to the left and to the right. Often times we teeter totter on getting things done because the work seems overwhelming and we begin to take steps away from our assignments by looking for other things to do; social media, television, snacking, using the telephone, etc. when we should be focused on our task(s) at hand.

Nowadays, it doesn't take too much for us to be distracted but if you break down your desired task ( with completion in mind), the pressure will be less and you'll be one step closer to accomplishing your God-given goals. Be honest with yourself and what you struggle with. Create a list. Also, never be afraid or ashamed to ask anyone for help. The best teachers are those who are teachable. Even Jesus sought God the Father for direction through prayer.

Remember, you are not in this process alone even when it may seem as if its just you and the computer because God is with you and He will complete the work He began in You. During moments of weakness, pray and ask God for strength but by all means, don't ever be afraid to grow; don't ever get to the place where you are comfortable with complacency.

God had bigger and better plans or works of righteousness that He prepared for you to do before the foundation of the world. So don't let life pass you by. Don't allow idleness or laziness eat up your time. Your purpose is too important and is tied to too many people waiting on God to answer their prayers--through you!

Love you and stay focused in Jesus' name!

No Room For Excuses!

There was this young woman diagnosed with leukemia and she spent a considerable amount of time in cancer treatment facilities.   Everyone that came in contact with this young lady always referred to her as remarkable, and resilient. It baffled them how she was able to keep such a sweet spirit considering all she has endured.  The doctors and medical specialists couldn't understand it. When they would shake their heads, she opened her heart and then began to testify of God's goodness in the midst of the storm. When the doctors came in with some "bad news" she was quick to tell them about the hope she had in Christ Jesus. Again, they couldn't understand how she could believe in a God that allowed her to experience so much suffering. Politely she would explain that her suffering is not a death sentence or a reflection of God's lack of love for her. In her suffering she experiences the grace of God that others in her weakness may witness His strength. ...

Naked & Ashamed

"Naked & Ashamed!" Do you remember a time when you felt naked and ashamed? Perhaps you are feeling naked right now having discovered you are pregnant when others were unaware that you were even having premarital sex. What if you discovered you have a STD or the person you thought cared so much about you and who you surrendered your virginity to broke up with you. To heighten the issue, your ex has just told his boys or her girls about how you didn't live up to their expect ations in bed. Well, let me tell you a story about Adam & Eve who sinned against God and afterwards they experienced what we could call, "the walk of shame." So much so that they tried covering themselves up by making a covering with fig leaves and they hid from God. The Bible says, "Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame," Gen. 2:25. (NLT) "Naked" my friends and "felt no shame" are in perfect harmony; there are no barriers and no ...

#REMEMBER

On the eve of the 18th Anniversary of the campus fire at Seton Hall University (1/19/00), the Lord woke me up early this morning with thoughts of my late beautiful mother, aka "Red,"  👄 Doris Marlene King-Christmas. She left this earth serving and caring for both my sick grandmother as well as myself (2002). On the day of her aneurysm, we were preparing for another surgery related to the fire but she held her head high while fighting back her own tears, held my hand and to get my mind off of surgery, she asked me to cook a packet of oodles of noodles (LOL) for her. That woman was determined for me to regain my activities of daily living because little did I know, I would one day have a family to care of for myself by the grace of God. I could not have made it this far without the Lord using her to begin the process of healing. She kept a song in her heart, and a step in her foot (picturing her dancing like David did minus the clothes falling off (LOL). I would have been l...
